One of the most important tasks we perform as listing agents, happens before your home is even listed. Consulting clients on market preparedness is essential in a quick and successful selling process, not to mention it can alleviate a lot of stress when it comes time to start packing! Chances are you won’t find us over at our clients’ homes raking leaves or dusting fan blades… but we take our consultation role very seriously. That’s just one of the things that set our local Coming Home agents apart from the rest! A well prepared home will make for more attractive listing photographs, as well as more successful showings.
Once you’ve decided you want to sell your home, and have hired a Coming Home Real Estate agent to list your property, your agent will make an appointment to view your home. They will also send you our comprehensive Pre-Market Checklist. During the consultation appointment your agent may recommend painting some or all of your interior rooms. There are a few different reasons for this. Everyone has their own taste and style in home decor, but appealing to the most potential buyers is our goal once your home is on the market! Also, a fresh coat of paint can often help with odors, as well as making rooms feel more spacious and lighter!
